6th Annual Cycling Good Cheer Ride and Bicycle Parade on Sunday, Dec. 7 in Toronto

release by the Toronto Community Bikeways Coalition

December 3, 2025 - For the sixth consecutive year, Toronto Community Bikeways Coalition will bring together people from across the Greater Toronto Area through its Cycling Good Cheer Ride designed to promote fun, safe, and active transportation.

The main ride will include Santa and his elves, Frosty the Snowman and the Grinch, and be led by Ruby the Red-Nosed Reindeer and her furry pals. They will all gather this Sunday (December 7) at Raccoon Park (86 Soudan Avenue, near Eglinton & Yonge).

At 1:00 p.m. this large group of cycling merry-makers will head south along Yonge Street, eventually turning east on the Martin Goodman Trail to arrive at  the Raccoon Terrace picnic area in the newly opened Biidaasige Park.

There will be four other “feeder” rides, starting in different parts of the city and converging at Raccoon Park just before the 1:00 p.m. departure:

Scarborough – Ride with the Grinch
11:30 Cyclists meet at the NW corner of Danforth & Victoria Park Ave
11:45 Roll out the cheer

High Park – Ride with Ruby the Red Nosed Reindeer
11:15 Cyclists meet at High Park Gates North & Bloor St W
11:30 Roll out the tunes along Bloor, then north on Yonge

• St Lawrence Market – Ride with the Bicycle Mayor of Toronto
12 noon Cyclists meet on Market Street at the doors just south of Esplanade
12:15 Roll up Yonge Street to Eglinton

North York –  Ride with Elves from the North Pole
12:15  Cyclists meet at Finch TTC Station subway platform (south end, at the head of the train)

Beyond fostering goodwill for all road users, the Cycling Good Cheer ride draws attention to the multiple benefits of cycling for daily travel to work, school, shops, or appointments.

At the conclusion of the ride, at Biidaasige Park, there will be a community picnic with FREE coffee, cookies, s’mores, and more for all participants.

The 2025 edition of Cycling Good Cheer benefits from the generous sponsorship of PEDAAL, as well as Curbside Cycle, with additional support from Cycle Toronto.
