February 27, 2020 - Trek bolstered its lineup of electric bikes today with the release of new Verve+ 3 models, e-bike hybrids designed to bring speed, style, and comfort to city and recreational rides.
Verve+ 3 is an electric hybrid designed to deliver the most comfortable experience on commutes, daily cruises, and recreational rides. A plush saddle and ergonomic grips keep you comfortable even on rougher roads, and it includes a full suite of accessories-like lights, fenders, and a rear rack-that make it the perfect choice for riders who put comfort first on every ride.
Lightweight, sleek alloy frame
Verve+ 3 is built with a lightweight aluminum frame and available in a standard or a lowstep style that makes it easy to hop on and off. Both frames have a comfort-minded upright geometry that puts riders in the perfect position to take in the sights on recreational rides.
Reliable Bosch electronics
Verve+ 3 comes equipped with a reliable Bosch Active Line Plus drive unit and a large capacity 500Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. This powerful setup assists riders up to 32 kph and gives up to 120 kilometers of range on a single charge.

Smarter battery access
Verve+ 3 is the first model in the Verve+ family to feature Trek’s exclusive Removable Integrated Battery (RIB), a system that takes the hassle out of removing, installing, and portaging your battery.
RIB is compact and streamlined, and it gives riders easy, tool-free, driveside access to the frame-integrated Bosch Powertube in-tube battery. Battery removal is simple, worry-free, and requires no tools or extra bolts that could be lost on the road or misplaced at home.
Turn the key and the battery pops out, exposing an easy-carry handle-it’s that simple. Plus, the battery can be charged on or off the bike.

Add a second battery
Verve+ 3 is also available with an aftermarket option called Range Boost, which gives riders the opportunity to extend their adventure by attaching a second long-range 500Wh battery to the down tube for longer rides and more time between charges.
