B.C. Rolls Out Higher Rebates for eBikes Including eCargo Bikes for Businesses

August 10, 2020 - The B.C. government announced increased rebates for new e-bike purchases including a one-year pilot project offering up to $1,700 for business owners toward the purchase of a cargo e-bike reports CTV.ca.

According to Transportation Minister Claire Trevena electric-powered bicycles are rising in popularity. “We look forward to seeing more people using e-bikes for getting around,” said Trevena who hopes to encourage a switch to cleaner transportation.
