March 28, 2021 - Known as the most compact e-cargo bike in the R&M lineup, the Packster 40 holds more than meets the eye with creative storage solutions and a footprint only slightly longer than a normal bike. The Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 2 motor transfers 85Nm of torque through the 11-speed Shimano Deore XT drivetrain to the 26-inch rear wheel. This is where it gets creative, because to incorporate more storage space and improve handling, the front wheel is only 20 inches and features a Suntour Mobie 70mm suspension fork. The bike comes with tons of box options, including child seats and foldable sides to incorporate wider cargo. Extra features include an Abus lock, fenders, front and rear lights, Tektro disc brakes, a kickstand and a bell. The SRP is $8,049.
