October 25, 2021 - Paris is rapidly becoming one of Europe’s premier cycling cities and its Plan Velo: Act 2 reveals the intention to turn the French capital into a “100% cyclable city” reports Forbes.
The new $290 million plan will see 30,000 parking stands for cycling with an additional 1,000 spaces reserved for cargo bikes. Plus an additional 40,000 new secure cycle parking spaces will be built near rail stations while 70% of Paris’ on-street car parking spaces will be removed.
