February 25, 2022 - For the ICBF 2022 we are planning something different. On October 27-29, the International Cargo Bike Festival will take place close to Amsterdam. This year we’re teaming up with World of eMobility, a hybrid B2B/B2C trade show which debuted in 2021 and – as the name suggests – caters to all things that are electric and that get you from A to B.
So not only will you be preaching to the converted; this will be your chance to convert those visitors to World of eMobility who are there to check out e-cars, e-vans, e-scooters and e-trucks.
Venue
The ICBF 2022 will be taking place in a special area within World of eMobility. The venue – EXPO Harlemmermeer – is a huge glass structure with space for exhibition stands, an indoor test track, and conference facilities. Easily accessible from Amsterdam and handy for the city of Haarlem, it’s also right next to Schipol airport.

…the sharp-eyed among you will have noticed we sent out a message at the end of 2021 asking people to save the dates 6-8 May. These were the original dates of a “Covid-safe” event we were planning – with no live audience. So why the change of plan? Covid restrictions have now been removed in the Netherlands, and at the same time we got the opportunity to collaborate with World of eMobility. Too great an opportunity to miss!
The ICBF Magazine 2022
It’s official: the cargo bike industry is ready to open up again. The ICBF Magazine 2022 will cater to this pent-up demand by offering a treasure trove of insights, tips, interviews, news and in-depth features. The 2021 edition featured articles from across the world on family cycling, last-mile logistics and the cargo bike emoji; and the 2022 edition will be just as diverse. As ever, the magazine will be equal parts serious and fun, with dynamic, readable content.
