April 13, 2022 - For 2022, Rad Power Bikes has added the RadExpand 5 to their line-up. This fifth generation of Rad’s series of folding e-bikes weighs in nearly five pounds lighter than its predecessor and is powered by a 500-watt rear hub motor, along with a 672Wh battery that provides up to 72km of range. The 6061 aluminum frame is outfitted with a 7-speed microSHIFT transmission and mechanical calliper, including adjustable handlebars for a custom fit. Featuring fatter CST tires, front and rear lights, and a rear rack, the RadExpand 5 folds neatly to store in your vehicle, RV, apartment or boat. The SRP is $1,599.
