May 18, 2022 - In partnership with the City of Ljubljana, Technology Park Ljubljana, European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF), Bicycles and ITS Project (BITS) and local partners, CIE is delighted to announce the third edition of Smart Pedal Pitch!
The City of Ljubljana, the former Green Capital of Europe and European Best Destination 2022, is seeking the most innovative and market-ready cycling tech solutions to shape the future of cycling in their city.
Applications are now open and close on 25 May 2022. The competition is open to companies of all sizes, offering a unique opportunity to pilot and test your innovations in a dynamic city environment.
Ten companies will be invited to the final pitching at the world’s leading cycling conference, Velo-city 2022 Ljubljana, giving them a global audience to showcase their product. The winners of the final pitch will have the chance to run an extended “proof of concept” on the streets of Ljubljana and win up to €17,000 in prizes.
Shortlisted applicants from the North Sea Region may qualify for financial support to attend the conference.
