October 20, 2022 - Mahle Smart Bike’s X20 drive system won the new Innovators Prize in the Components category at Eurobike 2022 in Frankfurt, Germany in July. 

A jury consisting of experts from the cycling industry, media, and outside of the industry, awarded the innovative e-drive system that claims to be the lightest on the market, weighing only 3.2kg.

The drive delivers 23Nm of torque directly to the rear wheel, which is comparable to that of a mid-drive motor with 55Nm of torque.

Mahle also showcased its full range of smart accessories at Eurobike, such as the new e185 range extender, a great solution for more robust cycling adventures. Their new active battery charger is even faster and claims to be a better solution than other chargers.
