November 24, 2022 - (Regensburg, GER) Lifestyle mobility producer Ruff Cycles hit the community’s nerve by starting its own documentary series. Among the received feedback there is a remarkably large interest for the in-house production at Ruff Cycles.
In order to satisfy the audience’s curiosity, but mainly to thank the community for their part in making the documentary’s success through their likes, shares, and comments Ruff Cycles invites over for a spontaneous sixth bonus-episode! In this additional episode they grant exclusive insights into the brand new frame factory in Travnik (Bosnia and Herzegovina) that would otherwise remain reserved for employees only.
Here is where the next step to even more modern and safe production processes is made, profiting not only Ruff Cycles itself but the whole region as well. “It’s great to see with how much dedication the coworkers in Travnik together with their factory’s head Muamer Trako care for the technical realization of the bike designs, identify with the brand and closely follow the bikes’ success” says Desnica and adds: “Through regular visits and close exchange, friendships that transcend the borders of commercial relations and nations have evolved.”
It is not only worthwhile seeing how Ruff Cycles deviates from most other bicycle manufacturers’ philosophy by doing their assembly in Germany and their frame production in Europe. Technically interested, as well as layman viewers, can observe the steps of production from welding the frames in a gauge to high-tech precision machining in a CNC lathe.
Light is shone on how the bike producer’s high flexibility from conceptualisation and design to testing and production is achieved and how their in-house production enables them to pick up on the latest trends.
