November 28, 2022 - The Toronto Bike Brigade emerged in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since March 2020, the Bike Brigade has seen over 1,500 volunteers sign up to ride with us. The Bike Brigade is currently seeking a Managing Director, People and Operations for January 2023.

Job Description: As the Managing Director, People & Operations, you will be a key community leader and caretaker of the Bike Brigade. You will be responsible for overseeing the operations, building strong governance and financial stability, and guiding the implementation of the Bike Brigade’s Strategic Plan. You will foster collective accountability within the internal organizing team (primarily composed of volunteer leaders) and also build connections in the wider community and with our Partners.

Start date: Jan 2023 (flex)
Compensation: $40/hour (commensurate w experience)
Part-time hours: up to 20 hours/week
