eCargo Bike Training FREE Workshops March 4 & 6 in Toronto & On-Bike Sessions – Register Now

release by Cycle Toronto

February 26, 2023 - (Toronto, ON) E-cargo bikes can be a little intimidating at first, but they are a great and easy way to carry things around town while getting in some exercise and reducing your car use.

If you’ve been looking to invest in an e-cargo bike, or are interested in alternative modes of urban freight delivery, but aren’t sure where to start, we’ve got the perfect FREE workshop for you. This workshop will give you the chance to try one out before you take the plunge!

Dates:
Workshop: March 4th (in person), March 6th (online)
On-Bike Sessions: March 11th or 12th
Time: Multiple times available! Learn more on our event page.

When you register, you’ll be asked to select a time slot for a) your Safe Cycling workshop session (in person or virtual) and b) your on-bike experience! We’ll take you out on the cargo e-bike and take you through a skill testing course to make sure you feel comfortable and ready to take to the roads.
(Participants must be 16 or older, provide their own helmet, and be comfortable riding a pedal bike.)

All participants will complete a 90-min workshop session, a 90-min on-bike session, and post-workshop participant survey. Upon successful completion of the survey participants will receive a $20 Gift Certificate!

See you starting on March 4th!

Supported by the City of Toronto, Fix Coffee + Bikes, Happy Fiets and Curbside Cycle
