With Toronto City Council voting to make the Midtown Yonge Complete Street Pilot permanent back in February, it’s time to focus on the remaining sections and “finish the job”, says local cycling advocate Robert Zaichkowski who started a petition as well here which has over 1,400 signatures.

The Bloor Street West Complete Street Extension project between Runnymede Road and Resurrection Road aims to make travel on the street safer, more inviting, and attractive for everyone.

According to Zaichkowski there’s another campaign for Danforth-Kingston under way being led by @DanKing4All who have also started a petition with consultations expected in May. “There are very exciting developments along the Bloor-Danforth-Kingston corridor,” he added.
