Bike Share eBikes to Increase 200% in London, UK Plus New £3 Day Pass Improves Access

January 27, 2024 - (London, UK) The number of Santander bike share e-bikes in London, UK is set to increase 200% this summer – from 600 to 2,000 units – resulting from a Transport for London (TfL) investment to improve access to the scheme across the capital reports BBC.

Plus a new £3 day pass will be introduced, allowing an unlimited number of journeys under 30 minutes in a day, and £1 for extra half-hours.

The new day pass rate will “make Santander bikes one of the most affordable ways to travel in the capital,” said Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
