Are you a start-up, micro or small enterprise looking to grow your business, play a key role in shaping the future of cycling in cities, and win a unique chance to conduct a pilot project on the streets of Ghent? Then Smart Pedal Pitch is right for you! It is a unique innovation competition for start-ups, micro and small enterprises to help build better cities, cycling ecosystems and technologies.

Applications are now open and close on May 1, 2024, 23:59 CEST. The competition is open to micro and small size companies with a minimum viable product or service, offering a unique opportunity to pilot and test their innovations in a dynamic city environment.

Eight companies will get a professional pitch training by imec, and receive an invitation to the pitching semi-finals in Velo-city 2024 Ghent, giving them a global audience to showcase their product. The winners of the final pitch will have the chance to run an extended “proof of concept” on the streets of Ghent and much more.
