Bulls eMTB Race ePowered by Bosch on Day 2 at Sea Otter Classic 2024 Sees Over 120 Racers

(Monterey, CA) The Bulls eMTB Race presented by Bosch got underway in the late afternoon on Day 2 of the Sea Otter Classic and saw great conditions with sunny skies and moderate temperatures.

Nick Mackie (USA) from West Palm Beach Florida emerged triumphant as first man to cross the line after 15km race (three laps) in a time of 1:06:14 with Florencia Espineira (CAN) from Whistler, B.C. taking the win for the women in 29min 2sec. – she was 4th overall.

Mackie took over the lead soon after the start and never looked back winning by a 1:24 margin over Spencer Powlison from Boulder, CO in second, the bridesmaid as well last year, with David Harrison from Sun Valley, ID in third.

Overall, more than 120 racers took part in the unique eMTB event built to challenge modern eBikes and their riders over a circuit featuring steep climbs and technical descents.
