May 5, 2024 - Dahon, a pioneer of folding bicycles, recently unveiled the Cargoe T5, its first e-cargo bike that folds easily to compact by 35%, allowing it to easily fit in elevators, offices and storage rooms. Powered by a 250W mid-motor, there are four levels of assist and a 48V Samsung battery that boasts an enormous range of 160-200km. The low centre of gravity along with 24′′ front wheels with a 20′′ rear wheel, plus five gear range, ensure that it can manoeuvre effortlessly even when fully loaded to its maximum cargo capacity of 250kg (551 pounds). Stopping power is delivered via disc brakes, and the front cargo box can also be customized with child seats. All parts can fit neatly together into the cargo box when disassembled.
