City of Toronto Begins Construction of Protected Bike Lanes on Avenue Rd. to Safeguard Cyclists

July 24, 2024 - (Toronto, ON) Earlier this week, the City of Toronto started construction of bike lanes on Avenue Road from Bloor Street to Davenport Road reports Cycle Toronto.

“Work is well underway on the Avenue Road protected cycle tracks from Davenport to Bloor. When they’re finished, this stretch of Avenue Road will be far safer and more comfortable to travel for everyone,” Tweeted Cycle Toronto.
