Hundreds Gather at Queen’s Park Delivering Ghost Bikes to Protest Removal of Bike Lanes

November 22, 2024 - Hundreds of Torontonians and cycling advocates flooded the streets yesterday to protest the proposed legislation to remove and restrict bike lanes in the city as they rode to Queen’s Park and delivered two “ghost bikes” reports Toronto Today and other outlets.

The ghost bikes are memorials to cyclists who have died in road accidents. Protestors say they serve as a reminder that removing bike lanes will lead to more cyclist deaths on Toronto streets.
