Program 1 – Adventure
For lovers of mountain biking, gravel, bikepacking, and cycling in general, this program will take you on a journey around the world.
Program 2 – Cycle For Change
These stories celebrate the change makers, the advocates, and the activists who are pushing the bike movement forward in their communities and redefining what it means to ride a bike.
Program 3 – Urban + Select
A selection of films that capture the spirit of the street, the fearless, fixed gear and messenger cultures from passionate cyclists in cities and trails around the world.

About the Bicycle Film Festival
In 2001, Brendt Barbur was hit by a bus while riding his bicycle in New York City. Insisting on turning this negative experience into a positive one, Barbur founded the Bicycle Film Festival (BFF) as a global celebration of bicycles through film, art, music, and culture.
Since its inception, BFF has expanded to more than 100 cities worldwide, reaching over one million people and highlighting the beauty and importance of cycling. The festival has partnered with prestigious institutions like the Sydney Opera House, the Barbican, the Andy Warhol Museum, the MCA Chicago, as well as vibrant cities such as Tokyo, Istanbul, Paris, London, Cape Town, and Mexico City.
BFF showcases a curated selection of films—from documentaries and narratives to animations—featuring both award-winning and emerging filmmakers. In addition to film screenings, the festival hosts immersive music performances, art exhibitions, and culinary experiences.
Notable artists, filmmakers, and cultural icons such as Erykah Badu, Kaws, Albert Maysles, the Neistat Brothers, Karl Lagerfeld, Shepard Fairey, Alex Katz, Paul Smith, Tom Sachs, Ridley Scott, Kiki Smith, Ai Weiwei, and Spike Jonze have contributed to the festival, cementing its status as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange.
