Copenhagen to Add 800 New Parking Spaces for Cargo Bikes and Residents Get to Decide Where

December 23, 2024 - The Municipality of Copenhagen is planning to add 800 new parking spaces for cargo bikes with locking options, and residents will get to decide where reports TV2Kosmopol.

For families with children cargo bikes replace cars but theft is an issue. “I am aware that the 800 spaces with locking options are far from enough to cover the enormous need we have in Copenhagen – but it is a good step on the road towards a safer and more secure cycling city,” said Line Barfoed (EL), Mayor for Technology and the Environment in the Municipality of Copenhagen.
