February 20, 2025 - Moustache becomes the title partner of the new Moustache SR Suntour team. This team, led by Rémi Absalon, is very close to our hearts for a number of reasons: they have a strong attachment to the Vosges region, the pleasure of riding is an integral part of their program and they will be on board our latest creation, the Samedi 29 Game 160.
It has now been 12 years since Rémy Absalon launched his own team. He was joined by Hugo Pigeon in 2019, then more recently by Emeric Ienzer in 2022. Ludo Gauthier, the team’s mechanic with golden hands, has also been there since the beginning… And this quartet will continue in 2025.
Many have been the unwavering partners who have followed the team since the beginning of the adventure. Leading the way, SR Suntour, but also Duke, Michelin, Shimano, Ergon…
“This confidence is something very important to me, it is a long-term relationship with values that I share, and it is an honor to count on their support for so many years.
“On the other hand, the team has its roots, like me, here in Les Vosges. It is an inspiring region, that I love and surely the best spot for riding… a little chauvinistic perhaps, but I know another brand who should understand me, a brand also sharing these values and roots. It is therefore with great pleasure that our team is joining forces with Moustache Bikes!
“We met with Manu and Greg, the two founders of the brand and it was self-evident to us to start this adventure together and work together with common wishes,” said Rémy Absalon, Team manager Moustache SR Suntour.
“Like us, Rémy Absalon is rooted in the Vosges, the region at the heart of the Moustache adventure. Rémy is all smiles, sincerity, passion and a hell of a hand on the handlebars! That’s the spirit with which he built his team. So when the opportunity to work together arose, it was only natural that Moustache should respond with our new Game 160. Thanks to Rémy and all his other partners, many of them long-time loyalists, for making this possible.
“We wish Emeric, Hugo, Rémy and Ludo, the mechanic, great racing and the joy of victory! But the most important thing for us is to know that they are having fun onboard our Game, both in races and in training, and to see them smiling again and again,” commented Emmanuel Antonot, co-founder of Moustache Bikes.
In terms of goals, the team will be keen to perform on events such as the Megavalanche (E-bike and muscular), the E-EDR World Championship, the E-Bike World Tour, the E-Epic, a few rounds of the EDR World Cup… but also to produce great video and photo projects.
The team met in the Vosges this winter for a visit to the Moustache factory, to see the team’s bikes assembled live by the operators under the watchful eye of Ludo, but also to test this brand new Game: pure enjoyment!
Now it’s time for a few training sessions with the team, testing in Italy with SR SUNTOUR then BOSCH and to race again from April with the Ultra E-Epic Enduro in Olargues.
