May 5, 2025 - Washington, DC region’s Capital Bikeshare (CaBi) logged 6,114,324 rides in 2024, breaking the all-time annual ridership record for the second consecutive year. E-bikes have remained the most popular option across the regional network. After an unprecedented surge in ridership in 2024, CaBi is the fastest- growing bike share system in the US, offering the second-busiest service behind New York City’s Citi Bike, which is the nation’s largest bike share, with a record 44.1 million rides in 2024.
