Cycling Industries Europe Appoints Paul Walsh as New Chief Executive Officer

May 5, 2025 - Cycling Industries Europe (CIE), the voice of the cycling industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Walsh as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Walsh brings over 12 years of industry association management experience, with positions in aviation and research and innovation associations. As CEO, Walsh will continue to lead CIE through its next phase of growth, leveraging his extensive knowledge of EU innovation policy, advancing CIE’s mission to accelerate the uptake of cycling and strengthen the cycling ecosystem across Europe. CIE is positive that with Walsh’s leadership, it will continue to have an instrumental role as a key stakeholder in shaping EU mobility and industrial policy.
