July 27, 2025 - eBliss Global, an e-bike manufacturer, is expanding its operations into Utica, NY, with an investment of more than $4.1 million and an initial goal of producing 15,000 units annually.
The expansion is slated to create at least 40 jobs and Empire State Development (ESD) is supporting the project and the company’s job creation goals with up to $500,000 in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits.

“This endeavor has been years in the making,” said eBliss Global Founder and CEO Bill Klehm, “This factory represents the culmination of a mission to create a product that is 100% made in America. Utica, Oneida County, and Upstate New York have historically been known as a hub of blue-collar industry, and we’re thrilled to be part of its next chapter and to build the green transportation revolution right here in Upstate New York.”
ESD has committed more than $12.7 million into the infrastructure and redevelopment of Harbor Point in downtown Utica where eBliss Global will be located, including nearly $480,000 into the recently opened promenade, and $1.25 million into the apartments and commercial space currently under construction.
Klehm, who has a history in the automotive industry and ran Fallbrook Technologies, that developed the NuVinci variable transmission drivetrain, commented on LinkedIN, “eBliss Global, Inc. is excited to announce the launch of ‘BUILT in the USA eBikes’, from our just announced Utica, NY facility. Volume deliveries of The RIDE Bikes built in the USA will be Q1 2026. Encompassing 5 riding styles and 9 models, all built in USA.”
eBliss Global is headquartered in Austin, Texas and as operations mature and demand increases, the facility in Utica is expected to generate additional indirect employment through supply chain partnerships and contracted services, reinforcing the community’s role as a hub for manufacturing and sustainability.
