by Riese and Muller on LinkedIN

September 13, 2025 - At IAA MOBILITY 2025 held from Sept. 7-12 in Munich, Riese & Müller GmbH CEO Dr. Sandra Wolf found clear words on the Main Stage Panel “Why diverse mobility is so important”.

“We need a real mobility summit,” said Wolf. “Germany has more than just a car industry. The bicycle industry and public transport are also strong players – and deserve political visibility and a level playing field.”

“The future belongs to “soft mobility” – with up to 90% cycling, walking and public transport. But without infrastructure such as safe cycle paths, change remains only theory,” she added. “It’s not about the bike I build, or the car someone else builds – we shape the cities together.”

Thanks to the panel participants Peter Bosch (Cariad), Florian Huettl (Opel) and Dr. Arne Schneemann (DB Regio) for the strong exchange!

IAA MOBILITY has seen a significant decrease in two-wheel presence at the event since it launched in 2021. – ed
