Riese & Müller Launches the RX Connect App 3.0 with Extensive Redesign and New Functions

release by Riese & Müller

October 1, 2025 - (Mühltal, GER) Riese & Müller is presenting a comprehensive update to its digital e-bike experience with the latest version of the RX Connect app. Version 3.0 of the app differs markedly from its predecessor with a completely revised design, new personalisation options and a significantly improved user interface. The aim of the redesign is to offer riders an even more intuitive, clearer and more individual user experience.

Personalisation meets modern design
The new user interface impresses with its modern, minimalist design style and clear structure. For the first time, users can adapt the appearance of the app to their own bike – with coloured backgrounds matched to Riese & Müller frame colours. This turns the app into your personalised companion on every ride.
The user experience has also been fundamentally optimised: smooth animations, improved response times and natural, haptic feedback ensure that it is even more immediate and pleasing to use. For instance, when activating or deactivating their digital bike alarm, users will receive a tactile response on their smartphone.

The key features of the RX Connect app at a glance:
GPS tracking: Total control of your location – your bike can be found on the map view at all times.
Digital bike alarm: If the bike is moved when the alarm is activated, users will receive an immediate push notification on their mobile phone – for maximum security.
Digital ride log: Comprehensive statistics about every ride are available at all times – from the elevation profile to the speed graph.
Automatic ride recording: Ride data is continuously recorded and securely saved – no need to manually start or stop the app.
Location sharing: Users can simply share a link with others showing the actual location of their bike – even while riding.
Speedo function: The app is directly connected to the bike by Bluetooth (UBN bikes, Bosch bikes with Smart System) and displays all key riding data in real time. A GPS-based speedometer is available for other bikes.
Personalised app styling: Individual adaptation of the app colour scheme to the frame colour – to match your own bike.
Garage: All your bikes at a glance – including the status of the bike alarm, battery status, and RX Chip (bike status).
Availability: The update is immediately available to download from the App Store and Google Play Store.
