Senior Product Manager Paul Burnett explains, “We wanted to make an eMTB that has the perfect balance of weight and power. The innovative TQ system combined with our proven Sight VLT platform and VSPHP layout gave us the ability to accomplish all those goals.”
At the core of Sight VLT TQ is the TQ HPR60 system, born from an advanced aerospace pedigree. Its harmonic pin ring gearbox reduces moving parts while increasing gear overlap, delivering an incredibly lightweight and efficient drive system with a silent, natural ride feel—that is almost invisibly integrated into the bike. At 1.92 kg and with 60Nm of torque, 350W peak power, and 200% support, it’s a leading power-to-weight ratio in one of the smallest, most compact mid-power systems available. The 580Wh battery with 160Wh range extender option gives you more range to stay riding longer. The TQ system is tunable through the app for personal preference, and updates automatically via Bluetooth.
Thadeus Tisch, Senior Industrial Designer on the Sight VLT TQ team, explains our design approach: “Using the TQ system opened opportunities to design an eMTB that looks and rides like its analog namesake. We reduced visual mass wherever possible, not only in the size of the downtube and motor mount, but also in the transition areas—finding a good balance between the areas of the frame that are directly affected by the drive unit and battery size. Using our proven VPSHP suspension system layout with a vertical shock makes it blend seamlessly into our lineup. You can hardly tell it has a motor in it.”

Size-specific rear centre lengths, thru-frame cable routing, and complete frame protection, give every rider an optimized fit and feel across sizing with simplified maintenance. A mixed wheel configuration adds front end confidence and rear agility, while the VPSHP suspension layout delivers efficient climbing and composed descending through rough terrain.
