March 23, 2026 - The Proxim range by Prologo expands with a new model dedicated to the world of pedal-assist bicycles, yet perfectly suited to traditional bikes as well. Altius is an extremely versatile and comfortable saddle that, thanks to its innovative profile, ensures optimal support on any terrain: from urban commuting to the most exciting and adrenaline-filled trails.

Altius, the new Proxim project created for e-bike and e-MTB use, is ideal for those who want to ride in total comfort and safety, even without electric motor assistance. This saddle (255 x 150 mm) stands out for its distinctive round and V-shape design, making it suitable for cyclists with limited pelvic mobility and for those seeking maximum comfort without compromising the high quality and refined design that define all Prologo products.

The front section of Altius is wide and flattened, ensuring maximum comfort during moments of greater power output and effort in the saddle. The Active Base System technology – a hole in the saddle base covered by a soft padding layer – provides a larger support surface and protection from water and mud, while keeping the soft tissue area free from pressure peaks.

The Rear Rise
The major innovation introduced with the Altius model is the “rise” at the rear of the saddle. This elevated section is designed to provide support and stability when climbing and to prevent annoying sliding on the saddle, allowing the cyclist to remain in the correct position at all times without distraction.
