October 18, 2026 - ALSO, a separate micromobility company that spun out of Rivian, recently closed a $150 million Series D financing round, led by Prysm Capital, with participation from Eclipse Capital, Greenoaks, and MVP Ventures.

The new round is a vote of confidence in their product and technology roadmap, as well as their commercial partnerships with world- class operators such as Amazon and DoorDash.
The new capital will help accelerate the development of their autonomous vehicle platform, allowing the company to advance multiple autonomous form factors simultaneously—for moving both goods and people through urban environments.
These ALSO vehicles will build on the same EV architecture already developed for TM-B, their consumer electric bike, and TM-Q, their commercial electric delivery quad.
In addition, their TM-B Launch Edition e-bike has started shipping to customers across the U.S. They have also opened pre-order and configuration access for their TM-B Performance and Standard models, with initial deliveries slated to begin this fall.
This round of funding follows a $200 million Series C financing that closed earlier this year, led by Greenoaks, with participation from Prysm Capital and a strategic investment from DoorDash. Alongside that round, ALSO and DoorDash entered a multi-year commercial agreement to develop and deploy autonomous delivery vehicles at scale.
