The expansion of cycling infrastructure, incentives, and the promotion of e-mobility are significant drivers of this development reported ARGE Fahrrad’s Hans-Jürgen Schoder, “… e-bikes are the central means of transport for future mobility as they represent an attractive alternative to cars.”

For the third year in a row, bicycle sales in sports and bicycle retailers generated over one billion euros to a total of EUR 1.18 billion, and e-bikes continue to be the main stimulus representing 75% of total sales at EUR 894 million.
