Bafang’s European GM Departs as Company Plans Further Expansion in the Region

February 9, 2021 - Jack Brandsen, Bafang’s General Manager for Europe, is stepping down after a period of 6 years. During Brandsen’s time leading European operations from the regional headquarters in Wijchen, Bafang has seen over 30 local European personnel joining the company’s locations in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland.

Further expansion in the region is planned, with new national service centers in the pipeline, to be staffed by additional, professional local recruits. These developments have firmly strengthened Bafang’s service capabilities and brand recognition in Europe.

Bafang greatly appreciates the contributions Brandsen has made to the brand’s development over the years, and wishes him well in his future career. The move is an amicable parting of ways as Brandsen seeks new challenges and opportunities.

Brandsen will depart at the end of March 2021; Bafang has appointed Mr Gary Xu as European Regional Manager to serve the European market, under the supervision of Mr Joe Jiang as Sales and Marketing Director for global market management.
