New Bike Valet Grant
In partnership with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the new Bike Valet Grant will provide funding for equipment, labour, and other costs associated with bike valets for Summer 2024. Grants will range from $10,000 to $50,000. Municipalities, Indigenous governments, and community organizations interested in promoting cycling as a mode of transportation will be eligible to apply. We thank the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure for this support of cycling and cycling programs in BC.

Bike valets boost cycling as a mode of transportation by providing a safe and secure place for people to leave their rides. They are a demonstrated and effective solution for downtowns, destinations, and events. Successful grant applicants will be able to demonstrate that the creation, development, or expansion of a bike valet in their community is likely to generate cycling trips and address an unmet parking need. Successful applicants will also be expected to demonstrate a realistic plan for sustainable program delivery and data collection.
