BCBR Launches New BC Bike Fest May 29–31 Including XC, Enduro, Downhill, eBike Races

release by BCBR

February 17, 2026 - (Cowichan Valley, BC) BC Bike Fest, a brand-new three-day mountain bike festival brought to you by the organizers of BC Bike Race, is coming to the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island May 29–31, 2026, with multiple stand-alone, concurrent races across XC, Enduro, Downhill, Adaptive XC, and eMTB.

What Is BC Bike Fest?
BC Bike Fest brings together world-class racing on sick singletrack, anchored by a central festival basecamp and the best damn aprés in mountain biking.

The Festival HQ is at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds, which is smack dab in the middle of three diverse trail networks: Maple Mountain (XC), Mount Tzouhalem (Enduro), and Mount Prevost (DH). This gives everyone quick access to a huge variety of riding from one home base.

Beyond the racing, the weekend includes live music, bike demos, and just-the-right-amount-of-chaos side events like the Rambo Bike Relay and Bike Toss. Race hard during the day, then kick back, swap stories, and lean into the festival vibes.

Produced by the team behind BC Bike Race, often described as summer camp for adults, BC Bike Fest delivers everything you want in a weekend of mountain biking.
