Bike Share Launched on Toronto Islands with 250 Bikes Ready at Four Docking Stations

May 25, 2025 - Toronto Parking Authority (TPA), the city agency that operates Bike Share Toronto, launched on Toronto Islands on Victoria Day long weekend, May 17-19, with 250 bikes ready to ride on the island reports TorontoToday.

Two docks are located at Hanlan’s with one at the ferry terminal and another near the entrance to Hanlan’s Point Beach. Bikes are also be available at the Ward’s and Centre Island ferry terminals.

Island bikes bear a sticker that reads “I am an Island Bike. I stay on the Island!” Staff will be stationed at various location to ensure customers leave their bikes on the correct side of the harbour and relocation fees may apply.
