November 26, 2020 - Accelerated Systems Inc. (ASI) based in Waterloo, Ont., a global leader in electric drive systems, recently announced their e-bike technology and innovative controllers – read more here – and have now partnered with another Canadian company, Teznic in Aurora, on new performance upgrades to Sur-Ron e-motorcycles.
ASI and Teznic Collaborate on Sur-Ron for Fastest, Longest Range and Highest Torque eMotorcycles
The collaboration between ASI and Teznic brings Sur-Ron owners access to a new level of performance that simultaneously extends the range while increasing the power. With a top speed of 60mph already, the amalgamated team focused on making it possible for riders to enjoy their ride for longer periods and in more challenging terrains. All in all, the new customization lets you go further, faster.
The eBike market continues to demand ever more performance from today’s battery technology in the way of extended range, increased power and improved rider experience. The partnership is a natural fit. ASI, as a global leader in electric drive systems, joined forces with Teznic for the purpose of integrating Teznic’s high power density battery expertise with ASI’s outstanding BAC4000 and BAC8000 electric motor controllers to deliver this more robust package and next level performance.
“I’ve been in this industry for over eleven years now, and in that time, I’ve learned that sometimes, when offered free rein, developers chose to overextend the controller, motor and battery to unsafe and performance reducing levels. Working with Teznic, we were able to engineer and market a solution that delivers the maximum amount of power while at the same time providing a safe vehicle with the most consistent ride feel. Ultimately what we have jointly created is a very stable, strong, and efficient tune for this bike.” said Martin Kunze, Application Engineering Manager at ASI.
“Teznic is a forward-thinking organization with a singular focus, to propel the recreational electric vehicle market to new levels of performance and user experience. It was these values that made our partnership with ASI work so well. They provide world-class electric motor controller expertise; delivering ongoing development of our power management technology, yielding increased regenerative braking efficiency by as much as 30 percent, while also furnishing highly valuable data & analytics.”, said John Fiorini, COO of Teznic.

About Teznic:
Based in Aurora, Ontario, Canada, our founders are experts from various industries. We are passionate about electric vehicle technology, hydrogen production, the environment, and developing economies. We build and sell electric bikes that go twice as fast, for twice as long (range) as those of our competitors, at a lower price. These bikes appeal to consumers looking for commercial solutions as well as rugged recreational performance and safety. Teznic will bring its breakthrough hydrogen technology to market in 2021. Teznic’s Dope Bike uses proprietary hydrogen production technology, on demand, to run a small hydrogen motor, acting as an on-board power generator. Dope Bike can run the electric drivetrain from one battery while charging a second onboard battery. The Dope Bike features this portable power generator that uses blockchain and analytics to provide and track inexpensive, clean power on demand. This hydrogen range extender will be used for multiple electric drivetrains. To learn more about Teznic, visit our website .
