Dockr in Holland Raises €3M in Venture Capital for eCargo Bike Subscription Service

January 19, 2021 - Dockr, founded in 2018 by Boris G.L. Kuijpers, provides subscription services for electric vehicles for inner-city deliveries and recently raised €3M from Ponooc, an Amsterdam-based venture capital fund reports Silicon Canals.

Based in Leusden, Dockr’s fleet consists of renowned Dutch freight bicycle brands Urban Arrow and Cargo Cycling, their last-mile solutions enable companies of all sizes to manage deliveries and services hassl without a large up-front investment. The company plans to offer a wider range of Light Electric Vehicles and has also developed its own customizable freight box.

Ponooc is the independent investment arm of Pon Holdings and has invested in European startups focused on sustainable energy and mobility since 2014 and is renowned for investments in companies such as Swapfiets (the world’s first bicycle subscription service), Tranzer, Yego and Check.
