- Mark Robotham (New Zealand) – Hydrofoiling – Creating a New Ebike Category
Mark Robotham is CEO at Manta5. Manta5 is the world’s first water e-bike that replicates the cycling experience on water. Mark Robotham runs Manta5 with a straight-shooting open leadership style, with his signature operational mode of passion, pace and pragmatism to get things done. He has 20+ years’ experience in taking product development companies global, with early career paths in electronic design, manufacturing, product marketing and commercial management. Mark joined the company in 2019, taking over as CEO in April 2020. He has successfully transitioned the Company from its early stage brand building and R&D start-up phase, into a successful trading international growth company. - Georg Sampl (Austria) – ZUV (Zero-Emission Utility Vehicle) – a Circular and Local Production Approach for Urban Mobility
Georg Sampl is Industrial Designer at EOOS NEXT.
With a background in industrial- and furniture design Georg is responsible for the construction and design of the ZUV (Zero emission Utility Vehicle). The fully electrified tricycle was commissioned for MAK’s Climate Care exhibition as part of the Vienna Biennale for Change. Exhibiting the first demonstrator of the ZUV at this years IAA in Munich was a first attempt to reach out to collaborators in the field of micro mobility and gather feedback. With the typology of the ZUV EOOS NEXT wants to offer a vision of a circular design perspective with the focus on local production. - Stefan Ceman (Slovakia / USA) – E-bike Shop of the (Near) Future
Stefan is Founder of Ebike Steve Inc. – Ebike business consulting and future innovation. He loves electric bikes and business. He was a mountainbike downhill racer, a mechatronic engineer and former automotive industry manager. He opened his e-bike store in 2012 and started selling, servicing, and renting e-bikes. He is a co-creator of the world’s first 3D printed enduro e-bike Kinazo e1, made based on his Fit2Print System. He now helps other e-bike businesses as a consultant and trainer. He is also the creator of E-bike Repair Business Mastery Program. He works on future sales methods of selling, producing, and servicing electric bikes. - Petr Stepanek (Slovakia) – 3D Printing of Bike Parts

Peter has been full time into additive manufacturing since 2017, after devoting this new emerging technology still more and more time, energy and study. However, he has started his first projects since 2012 during his studies at the Technical University of Zvolen and continued during his works as a R&D Engineer at GEVORKYAN. At the present, he runs his own 3D printing company STEPANEK3D in Slovakia, currently operating more than 25 different 3D printers. He, with his team, have successfully completed than 600 unique projects so far more for additive manufacturing. Petr is passionate about lecturing and providing know-how to the students or community. - Sonny Vu (USA) – Breaking the Mold
Sonny is the CEO of AREVO, an advanced manufacturing tech company automating design and production of carbon fiber composites; demonstration products include the Superstrata bike and the Scotsman e-scooter. Previously, he founded: Alabaster (deeptech investments), Impact Biosystems (smart muscle recovery), Elemental Machines (IoT for labs), Misfit (wearables; acquired by Fossil), AgaMatrix (biosensors for diabetes), and FireSpout (NLP; acquired by Ask.com). Before startups, he worked at Microsoft Research (NLP), worked on a linguistics PhD at MIT under Noam Chomsky, and studied math at UIUC. When not playing with his kids, he enjoys dreaming about the future, doing math, and learning languages. - Claudia Wasko (USA / DE) – Sustaining the eBike Boom
Claudia Wasko is the General Manager of Bosch eBike Systems Americas. Bosch is a global market leader in the production of electric bicycle systems, bringing the joy of e-powered riding to cyclists and non-cyclists everywhere. Working at Bosch for almost 30 years, she has been involved in the development of Bosch’s eBike system since 2009, is the co-founder of the Bosch eBike business division, and has built the North American regional business unit from scratch. With her extensive background in both the automotive and eBike industries, expect great insights on business, technology, and what it takes to build up one of the world´s leading authorities on eBikes. Claudia also gives back and helps other entrepreneurs with her contributions on the Forbes Business Council and on the board of PeopleforBikes’ Trade and eBike Committee. Claudia is not only a true leader, future creator and inspiring woman of cycling, but also a great rider and promoter of an eBike lifestyle and sustainable global future. - Live Discussion about E-bike Future
