In the spring of 2023, Poland’s bikeshare system, Mevo 2.0, was launched in the tri-city as a free pilot with 4,000 bicycles — 75% e-bikes, 25% traditional bikes. The initiative saw immediate success with over 100,000 users in two months. Currently the popular subscription-based system has 739 stations.

Gdansk is also a key junction for EuroVelo intersecting with three major routes: EV9 (the Baltic-Adriatic route), EV10 (the Baltic Sea Cycle Route), and EV13 (the Iron Curtain Trail). These routes offer diverse and enriching cycling experiences, connecting Gdansk to the heart of Europe and beyond.
