October 20, 2020 - SANTA CRUZ, CA – Gazelle Electric Bikes today announces for the first time an exclusive preview of forthcoming 2021 models. Further expanding on an already robust line-up, Gazelle will be releasing two new models: The Ultimate C380 and the Ultimate C8, and a new high-step frame option for the Ultimate T10. Characterized by its innovative and award-winning design, the Ultimate family of Gazelle electric bikes cleverly combine sporty looks, high performance, and complete comfort, for a remarkable ride-feel. The newest Ultimates bring exciting new features to the North American market, including belt drives and CVT stepless shifting technology. The new models marry elegant design, supreme comfort, effortless shifting, and exciting technology, creating a delightful riding experience across town, or on longer touring adventures. The new bikes will begin shipping to Gazelle’s North American network of retailers next month.

The highlight of the Gazelle Ultimate C8 is its smooth and near-silent shifting thanks to a Gates belt drive. This is the first model in Gazelle’s North American fleet spec’d with a belt drive, and the brand is excited to offer this feature to customers. In addition, the Ultimate C8 provides confidence-boosting stability on the road with a low center of gravity and exceptional frame stiffness, and an easy, upright posture. The Ultimate C8 is offered in two colors: Siena Light matte (a rich, rose gold) and Petrol matte (a smoky green-grey) and available in three sizes: 46, 53, and 57 cm, all in the graceful step-through frame style.
