How Dutch Society and Culture was Transformed from Cars to Cycling

June 16, 2020 - Everyone assumes that the current fantastic Dutch cycling network has always been a part of the country and culture. Nothing could be further from the truth. Above is a link to a short 7 minute YouTube video that talks about the history of what it took to produce the current cycling infrastructure that the Dutch enjoy today. It was massive cycling fatalities in the 1970’s that mobilized the Dutch to action.
