HUB Cycling is seeking an Executive Director to lead a growing, entrepreneurial organization getting more people cycling more often in Metro Vancouver and throughout BC. General responsibilities
The role of the Executive Director is to contribute to and implement the Board’s strategic plans for the organization in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner. The Executive Director is also responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organization, including managing staff, participating on appropriate committees, and developing business plans in collaboration with the Board to help achieve the mission of the organization.
The Executive Director works with the Director of Program Development, Director of Operations, Director of Bike Education, Director of Partnerships and Events, and the Director of Campaigns & Inclusion to manage staff, programs, services, membership, fundraising, budget, organization assets, and all other organization resources, to help make the best use of them and raise the organization’s impact and profile in the region. The Executive Director is accountable to the President of the Board and reports to the Board on a regular basis.
Specific responsibilities:
• Strategy, Operations, Program Development (40% of time)
• People Management (30% of time)
• Advocacy, Public Representation & External Partnerships (30% of time)

Terms
This is a staff position, 35 hours per week. The 2023 annual salary range for the position is $87,250-$98,000, subject to review in the coming months. Health and dental benefits included. Hybrid work environment; all staff are expected to work partially remotely, with 1 or more days a week in our shared office space at 312 Main Street, Vancouver, BC.
