New McKinsey & Company Study Says 70% Favour Micromobility, Cycling and eBikes

December 3, 2021 - A Mobility Ownership Consumer Survey conducted in July 2021 by the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility, shows that almost 70 percent of respondents were enthusiastic about micromobility vehicles including bicycles and e-bikes.

The findings suggest that a growing number of workers may gravitate toward smaller, more environmentally-friendly forms of transport as pandemic restrictions lift and offices reopen.

The new study date is in-line with previous research in 2020 by the McKinsey Centre that suggested micromobility was poised to make a strong comeback when the pandemic abated.
