April 17, 2023 - The Montague M-E1 is the world’s first full-size, step-through, foldable performance e-bike that compacts quickly with the flip of a single quick release for easy transport and storage. Power assist is provided by a compact Shimano STEPS 250W E6100 mid-drive motor with 60Nm of torque that pairs with a 418Wh lithium battery pack to provide up to 80km of range. Shimano’s Deore drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable, quality components. The aluminum frame is equipped with an SR Suntour NEX front suspension fork for comfort, along with full-size 700c wheels and Schwalbe Energizer Plus tires. Lights, fenders, a rear rack, and a double kickstand round out this unique foldable e-bike. The SRP is $5,199.
