New Bike Bus Program Launched in April at Five Elementary Schools in B.C.

May 7, 2025 - HUB Cycling is excited to announce the launch of a new Bike Bus program, which started in five Metro Vancouver and Victoria elementary schools this spring.

Bike Bus programs are growing in popularity around the world. ©

A ‘Bike Bus’ is an organized group of children riding bikes to school together along a set route under the supervision of adult leaders. The progam is funded by the Province of BC.

The Bike Bus program started in April 2025 and is running weekly in the following schools:

Mondays – Florence Nightingale Elementary, Vancouver
Tuesdays – Campus View Elementary, Saanich
Wednesdays – Lord Tennyson Elementary, Vancouver
Thursdays – Ocean Cliff Elementary, Surrey
Fridays – Emily Carr Elementary, Vancouver
