Following its acquisition of Fazua GmbH in June, the new venture based in Ottobrunn (near Munich) will develop powerful e-drive systems under the Porsche brand name in addition to distributing systems to e-bike manufacturers worldwide. Fazua will now be merged into Porsche eBike Performance GmbH.

Porsche’s Stuttgart-based P2 eBike GmbH plans to launch a new generation of Porsche e-bikes by 2025. In March 2021, the company launched the Porsche eBike Sport and the Porsche eBike Cross.

Independent of the joint venture activities, Porsche is continuing to work with its long-standing partner, Rotwild, on its current e-bike models.

In addition, Porsche Digital GmbH offers a platform for cycling-related digital services under the Cyklær brand. The multi-award-winning Cyklær Bike was developed together with Fazua and Greyp Bikes, a Croatian e-bike manufacturer.

Porsche acquired a majority stake in Greyp back in Nov. 2021, while Porsche Ventures has held a stake of around 10% in the Croatian company since 2018. It invested in Greyp at the same time that it invested in its sister company, Rimac Automobili.
