Sea Otter Classic Announces New 2020 Dates of October 1-4 in Monterey, CA

March 11, 2020 - (Monterey, CA) The new dates for the 2020 Sea Otter Classic will be October 1-4, at the usual venue in Monterey, CA, announced Frank Yohannan, Sea Otter’s president and CEO, in a press release.

“Other than the date changes, the location and racing schedules for Sea Otter will remain essentially the same. Modifications and updates will be posted on our FAQ page,” he continued.

The Bicycle Leadership Conference (BLC), produced by PeopleForBikes in conjunction with the Sea Otter Classic, will be held prior from Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in Monterey.

The release outlined that all race registrations, camping reservations, festival purchases etc. would be shifted to the new dates. Those unable to attend in Oct., were advised to “check the FAQ page for details regarding refunds and rollovers.”

Originally scheduled for April 16-19, the event was postponed due to concerns over the COVID-19 virus.

“Based on many discussions we’ve had with our supporters, I expect the October Sea Otter Classic to be a huge success. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you in October,” added Yohannan.
