Shimano STEPS E8000

May 5, 2020 - The Shimano STEPSE8000 eMTB drive system has been designed to magnify the best aspects of mountain-biking. With 70Nm of torque and focussed around maintaining a genuine MTB feel, the 250-watt STEPSmotor delivers power smoothly on climbs yet only weighs 2.8kg. This lightweight, intuitive motor allows the rider to fly down descents and easily switch between support settings via the handlebar-mounted Switch Unit, designed to mimic their XT Di2 shifting levers. The system also includes an LCD computer display on the handlebars, showing your power-support settings, speed, battery level and more.
