The Island of Jersey Set to Re-open eBike Voucher Scheme Ranging from £300 to £600

October 23, 2023 - People in Jersey, an island near France that’s a British Crown Dependancy, will soon be able to once again access vouchers, ranging from £300 to £600, towards buying an electric bike reports BBC News.

Jersey wants to reach net zero by 2050. ©

The grant scheme to be available from October 30, is part of the government’s Carbon Neutral Roadmap and backed by the Climate Emergency Fund.

A total of £300,000 has been allocated to the two-year program that aims to encourage people to reduce the number of car journeys. Jersey wants to reach net zero by 2050.
