Hear From the Event Team
In 2025, the health of mountain biking relies heavily on volunteer commitment — from trail builders to local network board members and community club leaders. At the same time, the sport is becoming more professionalized: trail-building companies, coaching schools, ski resorts, and riding centers are booming at an impressive pace.
Mountain biking is now all of this: a local sport connecting communities, a driver of entrepreneurship, and an increasingly attractive destination for tourists from around the world.
Still a young industry, mountain biking has much ground to cover before it becomes fully organized and thriving. To ensure its long-term sustainability, volunteers, professionals, municipal leaders, resort managers — everyone who plays a role in shaping mountain biking today — must come together, exchange ideas, and grow stronger collectively.
This is exactly what the five MTB centers in the Québec City region aim to achieve by inviting all mountain biking enthusiasts from Québec and beyond, to the first-ever Symposium Québec vélo de montagne, an inspiring gathering for learning, networking, and sharing experiences and expertise.
With a rich, bilingual program covering three key pillars simultaneously — social, economic, and trail building — the Symposium promises to bring the entire industry together.
